The temple at Edfu, Southern エジプト. This entrance wall is 79m wide and 36m high.

I took this photo while riding a camel through the サハラ砂漠.
Fortunately I was at the front of the pack,
since camels break wind almost continuously!

Twice a year, in late March and September (the vernal and autumnal equinoxes resp.), a ray of sunlight penetrates
the 65 metres between the entrance and the shrines and bathes Amon-Ra and Ramses/Rameses/Ramesses II in light.
